The first time was for an AC issue—they sourced the replacement part and had it ready the very next day, saving me a ton of downtime in the heat. More recently, I called them for a fireplace inspection. They managed to fit me into their schedule within the same week, and the technician actually showed up early. He was thorough, professional, and had the full inspection report completed within 10 to 15 minutes. Reliable, fast communication, and efficient work every time. Lisa C20 days agoJust wanted to give a shout out to Able. After a day of helping move my daughter we came home to find that the central air had stopped working. Nicole and the business owner were able to get a technician out early the next morning to get it up and running while parts are being ordered. Thank you to the technician Chris for explaining everything that you were doing in great detail and cooling our home so that we could be comfortable especially with a 3 month old in the home. Came out on a Sunday morning of the long weekend and for once didn’t make me feel like I was ruining someone’s long weekend. Had the team come in today to replace the whole system while I was at work and they did an amazing job replacing everything from the furnace to all the piping and lines required and did a fantastic job not leaving a trail behind them with the cleanup. Andre, the Able tech, saw right away that I just needed a new run capacitor. It's working great now and he saved me thousands of dollars. Milo M25 days agoA/C install here, went fine without a glitch. Chose ABLE because their sales person was the only one who didnt insult my intelligence and give me his best price upfront. Anyone with 1/2 a brain nowadays can figure out whats the decent price after including equipment wholesale cost, hours, overhead and of course reasonable profit. Other sales people were the old school starting at 6K then dropping to 4K once I showed them the door, that and baseless trashing of competitors and their equipment, so annoying and insulting.Posted on Google
Alan C25 days agoVery happy, the gentleman who we first met, new his product, gave us options etc. We got what he suggested, wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive. We feel we got what we wanted and needed. The after sale service was great, install on time, the guys new what they were doing ,air and furnace done in one day. When they left, everything was clesned up and running Admin. Kept us up to speed on what was happening, install date depodit final invoice and filled out and sent the info to the manufactuer for our warranty. Very impressed. We had previously hired other HVAC companies to service our mini split, but they all did superficial jobs that left our mini split not functional well within a couple months. Sherri L41 days agoOur 19 year old AC unit stopped working this morning. We called Able AC &Heating and were told someone would come out between 12 and 3pm. Phil arrived around 1:40 and assessed the situation and got right at it. We truly appreciated the fact that he replaced a couple parts, took the time to clean it out and explain to my husband what was wrong with it instead of automatically suggesting we get a brand new unit. We have AC running through the house again and stronger than before! He was very polite and friendly and cleaned up once he was done. Keith S52 days agoMade the huge mistake of using Reliance to do an inspection on my furnace. They didn't even inspect the furnace. All they did was try to sell me something new. Able came the next day and Actually, did the job of testing the furnace for carbon monoxide and reassuring me that my unit was in fact safe. Great job!Posted on Google

Appointment was scheduled for next day and that was a good start. Phil came out for a condensate pump issue. Was able to fix rather than replace which saved money and was appreciated. Had him do an ac and furnace tune up while here. He pointed out some things to monitor. He was very knowledgeable. Will use Able again.

The person taking my call was compassionate, kind and was commited to getting me the help I needed quickly. WIthin hours, a tech was at the house. Eager to help, pleasant, professional and more than happy to give up his evening plans despite a long day of work to help. He quickly found the issue, and provided his honest opinion on options to consider. Some options were better than others. It was not a pressure cell. When it was decided the old furnace should be replaced, the tech was quick to get on the phone with his team to get me a sales appointment ASAP. We managed to get for for the following morning. Shefik was on time for his appointment that Friday. Respectful, courteous, and compassionate, we reviewed options. He went through the pros and cons of what was available, and not once favoured the more expensive options. He was, patient, upfront and honest about all the products available, admitting that expensive was not always, and frequently not always better, and not to dismiss more economical options. He supported me on the decision to select the best option within my financial means. Although there were addons available, he shared them with me, but didn't pressure me to invest in things that really were unncessary. He did his job, but unlike others, didn't mislead me into the importance of things, or make false claims of quality over one product over another. He was upfront with me though, about the importance of routine maintenance and maintenance of the investrment to ensure longevity and access to the extensive warrently that came as part of the purchase. It was a heads up that HVAC does require care beyond installation to ensure reliability, and of course to expect a cost associated annually. Although I am a strong advocate of getting a mix of quotes, due to the urgency of the work, I was reluctant to invest a lot of time seeking other estimates (there are so few providers that I feel I can trust based on reviews and past negative experiences), so I went with my gut trust and went with ABLE AIR for complete HVAC replacement. The transaction was smooth. Shefik worked diligently on his phone to create the estimate and send them to me for approval. Each point of the thorough estimate (right down to nuts and bolts!) was clearly explained. Despite making some errors (mostly from having to work from his phone), he was quick to recognize and ammend them to create the final estimate. Once the sale was final, we had to schedule an appointment for installation. I was soooo impressed that Shefik managed to tap into his resources to secure installation that same day to accomodate unavoidable scheduling conflict. He was empathetic to my unique circumstances, and recognized the urgency in light of the extreme cold temperatures that are to follow that weekend. For this I am so grateful. Later that day, installers Shun and Jaimie arrived. Not unlike everyone I've dealt with since the first call that Thursday evening, they to were courtious, clean, professional and respctful of me and my home. They took time to explain the process, and the timeline. In was a Friday afternoon, and when many of us are anxious to start our weekend, they did not rush the job, and worked into the early evening to complete the job (not to mention them having to install an air unit outside in almost knee deep snow and -20C temps), and clean up behind them. Prior to leaving, they set my Thermostat, and ensured both the furnace and AC were working. In a matter of minutes, the house went from a balmy 14C to 21C. They showed me the new equipment, pointing out what they did, the different components, and the features I needed to be aware of ... like filters etc. It was nice to have warmth back in the home, and I feel the positive experience only made it feel warmer. The condensate pump that had been installed was apparently faulty and resulted in some water on the floor, a quick call back to ABLE had Shun and Jaimie back at the very start of their day to replace it. ABLE AIR followed up through email with a detailed invoice, all product warranties (with important fine print highlighted), with care tips, and of course maintenance offers. At this point, and with my previous positive experiences, I have no reason not to be confident in the services and product of ABLE AIR. They, as I do as well, realize competition is tough, but unlike other larger HVAC companies, I truly believe their business priorities are customer satisfaction applying honesty, respect, and empathy. Hopefully, these alone over shady business practices will allow ABLE AIR to continue sustain itself and continue to offer what customers expect and deserve when it comes to large investments like HVAC.Posted on Trustindex
Greg F215 days agoExcellent service and installation Andre quickly diagnosed the issues with my furnace, which was overdue for maintenance, and found the ventnor motor leaking oil and the fan motor showing significant wear. Given the cost of repairs, we opted for a full replacement of the 16-year-old furnace and A/C compressor. Eric and Sami did a fantastic job with the installation, completing it in under six hours while carefully protecting my wood floors. They also installed a whole-house humidifier, which is a huge upgrade from my old single room humidifier. Both technicians were incredibly polite and professional.
