What to Do Before Calling for Emergency Ductless Repair

Before calling Able Air Conditioning & Heating, try the following:

Check the thermostat

Ensure it’s set to the correct mode (heat or cool) and the desired temperature. Make sure the batteries aren’t dead.

Inspect the indoor and outdoor units

Look for any obvious obstructions like leaves, snow, ice, or debris blocking airflow. Gently clear anything you can safely reach.

Check the air filter

A clogged air filter can severely impact performance. If it’s dirty, try cleaning or replacing it (if you have a spare).

Examine the circuit breaker
