The Amana AR9T96 is a 96% AFUE two-stage, multi-speed ECM gas furnace designed to deliver consistent, quiet comfort. Its heavy-duty stainless-steel tubular primary heat exchanger and stainless-steel secondary heat exchanger provide exceptional durability. The two-stage gas valve enables quiet, economical heating by running at low stage most of the time, only ramping up to high stage during extreme cold. A sound-isolated blower assembly and heavy-gauge steel cabinet minimize operating noise. The ECM blower motor is highly energy-efficient compared to standard PSC motors, and the self-diagnostic control board with LED display simplifies troubleshooting.
