The Amana ALXT7C is a high-efficiency two-stage scroll compressor air conditioner with up to 17.2 SEER2, using R-32 refrigerant in a cube-style cabinet. The two-stage operation allows the unit to run at low stage (approximately 60–70% capacity) during milder days, providing quieter, more energy-efficient operation and better humidity removal.
