ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?
To qualify for a heat pump rebate, you must:
- Own the home where the heat pump will be installed. Where an owner has tenants, the owner must apply.
- Be an Enbridge Gas customer with an active account and primarily heat your home with a natural gas furnace or boiler OR be connected to the Ontario electricity grid and heat your home electrically.
- Live in a single detached, semi-detached, row house, townhome, or mobile home on a permanent foundation. New build homes do not qualify (i.e. homes that have been occupied for six months or less).
HOW TO GET YOUR REBATE
1. CONFIRM YOUR ELIGIBILITY
Complete this short form to confirm your eligibility and to receive a list of participating HVAC contractors, such as Able Air. They will help you choose the best heat pump for your home.
2. COMPLETE UPGRADES
Contact Able Air to install your heat pump.
3. RECEIVE YOUR REBATE
The team at Able Air will submit all required documents on your behalf. Once your application is approved, you’ll receive your rebate.

REBATES THAT REQUIRE A HOME ENERGY ASSESSMENT
Before starting any upgrades, an initial home energy assessment is required. A registered energy advisor will assess your home to identify energy-saving opportunities. Once the assessment is complete, you’ll need to complete at least two energy-saving upgrades to qualify for rebates.

HOME ENERGY ASSESSMENTS
$600 – To help cover the cost of both the initial and follow-up assessments, a $600 rebate will be provided upon successful program completion.
HOW TO GET YOUR REBATE
- SCHEDULE AN ASSESSMENT Before beginning any work, complete an initial home energy assessment with a registered energy advisor from an approved Service Organization. Fill out the form below for a list.
- GET A CUSTOM REPORT See which upgrades are recommended for your home and choose at least two to complete.
- COMPLETE 2+ UPGRADES Contact Able Air to complete the work.
- SCHEDULE A FOLLOW-UP ASSESSMENT After upgrades are installed, complete a final assessment with the same registered energy advisor.
- RECEIVE YOUR REBATES Your rebates will be sent after your energy advisor submits all required documents.
